Hugo is an advanced control and information system used to keep informed the owner, at every time, about the situation in the area where it is installed. It has two main uses, which are, either as reporter in a shop, or as spy controlling a zone with nobody knowing it.
It is fully modify in size, shape, texture, position, etc.
Its control and working parameters are changeable too.
Technical information can be found in the instructions notecard included in the purchase pack. But in a brief summary I can tell you that:
The system checks the area where it is installed. The reach in meters and the frequency in seconds of the scanning is programmed with commands in the chat line.
It can work in spy mode, and then it will be invisible and the floating texts will vanish.
It detects the avatars in its influence range and reports about that to the owner, who gets the information by IM if ONLINE or by email if OFFLINE (email must be activated in the SecondLife Preferences, Communication tab).
Hugo can change its color if you want, to difference when you are ONLINE or OFFLINE. This option is helpful for the clients who visit your shop.
The Hugo system has a floating text which can be changed in content and color at any moment or inclusive turned on and off.
The Hugo system also allows the clients to send an IM, by just touching it. In this way the client alerts the owner about the fact that they want to speak with him.
The text of the IMs is easily modifiable in a note inside Hugo's inventory. What's more, at the same time the client gets a notice where is informed about the fact that a message has been sent. This text is also modifiable.
If the owner is not online, he gets an email. With the time when the event happened.
Hugo also allows the clients to drop notes inside its inventory, this option is very interesting. When someone drops a note in the inventory of Hugo, an IM or email is inmediately sent to the owner reporting the amount of notes Hugo has in its inventory waiting for him. Besides, it shows a notice to the client letting him know that the note has been correctly received, if so.
As you can see, this sytem, placed for instance, in a shop, lets you improve tremendously the service you provide to your clients and so increase your sales. Because, if you know who and when is in your shop you can help them to find what they need.
In the same way your clients know if you are online and, if they desire to ask you something, they can do it by just touching Hugo. Or if they so decide, they can write a message in a Note include pictures or landmarks and drop that note in Hugo's inventory. The possibilities are a lot.
Even when you are OFFLINE, you have a written report of the activity in your premises through the email which you can check at any moment.
