We all know that, although the possibility to disallow flying exists, from the "About Land..." window in menu "World", the true is that it can be by passed from the Advanced Menu.
Hence the existence of this device, able to detect avatars flying and then alert them with a warning message and giving them some seconds to land or they can be ejected, send them home, or even ban them. In case of banning, you can also decide if ban then forever or only during some hours.
This device is very useful when we want to have some privacy, for instance, in an sky base where you only can go flying, because the landing point is anchored somewhere in ground level. Using this device you can filter the people you want to allow flying in that area.
This detector is easily prepared by notecard. Since this version is for Group Owned Land you have to be carefull with some things.
Once you have rezzed the box and you have touched it to transfer its content to a folder in your inventory named "Flying Avatars Detector", you have to find the detector inside that folder.
Put the detector where you like, then edit it (right click on it and edit), go to the content tab, there you will find a script and a note named setup. Open that note, don't add or remove any line. Write the correct values for your place by following the indications in the note. Rewrite the default values by the values you need. Save the note and close the edit window.
Now you can touch the detector, a menu with buttons (Start, Stop, Setup) will appear. If you press button Start, the detector starts working and the green pilot light (ON) so indicates it. Press Stop if you want pause or Stop the detector.
Button Setup gives you a small report telling you its position and also the configuration parameters.

NOW YOU HAVE TO SHARE THE DETECTOR WITH THE GROUP (DEED) OWNING THE LAND, AFTER DOING THAT PROBABLY YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EDIT THAT NOTE AGAIN, SO DOUBLE CHECK THE NOTE AND THE CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS YOU WROTE IN IT.
Share (Deed) the detector with the group.
